Studying for CIMA through us is easy. We offer a unique, flexible concept of Distance Learning with web support, which means that you can study anywhere, at any time convenient to you. You don’t have to take time off work and you can control and fit your studies around family commitments.

On-line education is replacing traditional classroom based courses, and you no longer have to schedule time to suit others. With Web Supported Distance Learning you have the best of all worlds with a combination of integrated study material written, presented, and delivered in a variety of different ways to make sure that topics are viewed, discussed and reinforced through alternative methods.

For each CIMA subject, registered students will receive the following standard support package.

Study Texts and Exam Revision Kit written by authorized publishers.

Each study text covers the syllabus in a logical sequence to exactly the right depth. To assist in the learning process there are practical examples and questions for self testing. The revision kit contains a bank of practice questions and clearly structured answers. It will help you to be prepared for examinations by showing you what to expect.

Personal Mentor support.

Experienced practitioners are on hand at all times to answer any questions you may have about the topics covered in the study material. If you have any problems with specific aspects of the course or the study material is not clear, you can ask the mentor in your own words for an explanation. Mentors can be contacted through email and will respond promptly. As they are practicing Accountants rather than lecturers, they will support you with answers drawn from their considerable work experience.

Pocket sized revision notes.

Portable concise up-to-date notes for revision which you can carry with you at any time to illustrate key techniques and reinforce your learning.

The following fees apply for Distance Learning students wishing to study on a unit-by-unit basis.

• Interactive CD-ROM e-Study & e-Exam and Audio CD

Students may opt to purchase additional interactive e-Study CD-ROMs which are designed to help students pass their exams whether they are being assessed on paper or by computer. This innovative learning approach comprises a CD-ROM and a downloadable Study Guide*. Each CD features step-by-step topic coverage, animation, question practice and computer based practice assessment.

These are currently available for CIMA certificate and managerial exams.

The e-Exam CD-ROM is designed to test knowledge and improve exam technique, making it an ideal revision tool. Each CD offers you approximately 300 objective test questions, covering the entire syllabus. Questions can be selected from specific syllabus areas or a random exam based on the entire syllabus can be generated. The great advantage of e-Exam is that the disks improve your expertise under timed conditions.

These are currently available for all CIMA exams except TOPCIMA.

The double audio CDs extend your study time by allowing you to listen to the key areas of the syllabus on the move. These CDs also contain a free sample of the e-Study and e-Exam CD-ROM material to help with your studies.
